Autumn is coming to the Cotswolds

The colours in the Cotwolds are beginning to change and there is a definite chill in the air. This time of year is stunning when you get a bright crisp day and one of my favourite things is going for walks, enjoying the fresh air and collecting interesting pine cones and anything that will look good on a Christmas wreath. I will pick flowers and foliage, keep them out of water to see how it will look when it dries out, some of these experiments are successful, others less so . . . .
